Los Angeles Farm is a trial product of the group around former agronomy professor Sigfred Corado. The only variety on this farm is Pacamara, so Renacer programme students can learn how to treat this variety and how to correctly process. Knowledge is not only passed on to farms in the wider area, but also helps to gradually improve its own production. Walking through this farm is fascinating due to the way it is connected with nature. Granting low density of coffee trees, lots of shading trees, no pesticides or other chemicals and also only organic fertilizer. During picking, care is taken to select only the most ripe cherries and careful sorting. The coffee is then dried for 4 weeks on so-called African beds, turning every hour so that it is evenly dried and there is no risk of any defects.
